Aperol
Aperol was originally produced by the Barbieri company based in Padua. Originally created in 1919 it did not become successful until after World War II. Aperol is now produced by Campari, whose internationally-renowned brands also include Appleton Estate, Campari, Cinzano, SKYY Vodka and Wild Turkey. Headquartered in Sesto San Giovanni, Italy, Campari owns 16 plants and 2 wineries worldwide and has its own distribution network in 19 countries.
Tasting Notes
It has a distinctive nose of rhubarb & orange as they form two of the key ingredients to make this bitter style aperitif.
