Close to Bassenthwaite Lake in an area of unimaginable beauty encircled by Cumbrian fells is the perfect home for The Lakes Distillery. They have ideal water from the famous River Derwent with its source high up in the fells along with a team steeped in distilling experience - the perfect combination for creating outstanding spirits!
Perfumed and fruity aromas with polished oak, red apples, chocolate & hints of Devonshire cream, the palate has peanut and walnut baklava, baking spices, candied papaya and hints of coffee leading to a vibrant and creamy finish with toasted brown sugar.
Best served neat or with a drop of water.
