N. Barriasson & Co was founded in 1850 and maintained independent until the 1960’s when Gaston de Lagrange took over the company; probably to benefit from the old Barriasson stocks.
An wonderful nose of toffee, white pepper and subtle spice leads to an almost treacly palate filled with fig, raisan and prune flavours. With wonderful depth and incredible length, this is a great cognac.
