Bruno Sourdais is the 6th generation to run this domaine. Bruno joined his late father, Serge, in 1990, taking control in 2008. Three-quarters of the domaines 55 hectares are located on the Côteaux above the communes of Cravant, Chinon and Panzoult. The winemaking is very traditional, with all wines passing through wood at some stage in the élevage.
Produced from 100 year old vines. Fresh, grippy and intense on the palate with impressive underlying power, excellent supporting tannins a ripe cassis fruit finish.
Fresh, fruity and structured, this wine calls for a beautiful braised beef, or why not game with a mushroom sauce?
