"Our collaboration with House of Townend spans more than thirty years and was formally strengthened in 2008, when House of Townend became the distributor of Champagne Gardet in the United Kingdom.
Several elements have shaped and defined this partnership. Foremost is the alignment of generations between our two family houses — first through John and Christophe, and more recently through their daughters, Georgia and Clémence. This has naturally fostered a relationship that is both friendly and professional, strengthening the longevity of our collaboration.
Two symbolic moments have recently highlighted our partnership: in 2025, when John and Susie joined us in celebrating Champagne Gardet’s 130th anniversary, and then as part of House of Townend’s 120th anniversary, Christophe had the pleasure of gifting a magnum of our 120th Anniversary cuvée, originally released in 2015 for our own 120th anniversary.
Our relationship with House of Townend extends beyond the professional realm: both companies share core values of family-driven entrepreneurship, a long-term outlook and an unwavering commitment to quality. The House of Townend team has played an instrumental role in promoting our cuvées within prestigious and loyal establishments across the UK, contributing significantly to the growing recognition of Champagne Gardet in the market.
Christophe regularly visits the UK alongside House of Townend’s sales team to meet clients, share our expertise, and enhance the visibility and reputation of our House. These visits also provide valuable opportunities to immerse clients in the world and heritage of Champagne Gardet.
This continuity, shared vision, and mutual trust remain the foundation of a strong and enduring partnership that we are proud to celebrate together."
