Built on generations of trust, friendship and a shared passion for great wine, these relationships remain at the heart of everything we do.
Today, we’re proud to feature Rioja Vega.
"This year we celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the collaboration between House of Townend and Rioja Vega. During all this time, House of Townend has become not only a very good customer, but also a great partner and a great friend. It has been an absolute pleasure to work with this company for all these years, and hopefully we will continue for at least another 25 years more. We started with just a few pallets in 2001, and last year we finished with 8 containers!
We are both medium sized companies, with 120 years of history in the case of House of Townend, and nearly 145 years in the case of Rioja Vega. We know what we have achieved together and also what we want to achieve in the future. It seems to me that this partnership works very well for both parties.
Such a strong business relationship, together with a very good personal relationship, is based on being straightforward and on trust. I truly believe this is the key for a long and successful business and personal relationship. If we see that something is not right, we discuss it and sort it out. Whenever I visit House of Townend, the whole team makes me feel at home, and I always try to do the same when anybody from House of Townend, or any of their customers, visit me in Rioja.
