The Nikka Whisky Co. produces a wide range of blended whiskies crafted from malt whiskies made at Yoichi and Miyagikyo distilleries and grain whisky made at Miyagikyo. The range of blends offers three diverse expressions created by the Nikka blending team. By carefully selecting whiskies made from different types of malts cask types and maturation lengths the blenders can draw from a vast palette for their creations. Blended whisky is how the story of Nikka began in 1934 and the spirit of the first Master Blender and founder of the Nikka Whisky Co Masataka Taketsuru continues to live on through the current Nikka blending team. Their quest for excellence in the production of Nikka whiskies perpetuates his memory. Taketsuru would no doubt be very pleased to know that his whiskies have gained a large following around the world.

Its aromatic complexity relies on the delicate balance of various botanicals including Japanese citrus such as Yuzu, Kabosu and Amanatsu. There is also a touch of apples, a fruit deeply related to the history of Nikka, followed by pleasantly tangy hints of Japanese Sansho pepper on the finish.
