Domaine Barcelo

Located in the town of Aghione, on the east coast of the island of Corsica, the Barcelo estate bought by Daniel Barcelo 15 years ago, expresses all the attributes of a high-end Corsican wine. The well-oriented floors are located between sea and mountain. The harmony of continental and indigenous grape varieties on this recognized "Terroir" gives elegance and aromatized wines with high potential.

Intense ruby red color with notes of purple. The nose offers notes of red fruits and spices. The palate is silky, with a very pleasant and generous attack, and well-integrated tannins.

This fresh and supple wine goes perfectly with soft cheeses and grilled meats.

The grapes were picked at ideal ripeness. Traditional winemaking methods are used; after destemming and partial grinding, the grapes udergo fermentation at a controlled temperature of 25 TO 30°C, during a maceration period of 10 days, with daily pumping.
