Domaine Lafarge

This 10ha domaine produces some of the finest wines in Volnay and has been farmed biodynamically since 1999. It is run by Michel Lafarge and his son Frédéric, who farm their vineyards using biodynamic principles. The Pinot Noir characteristics are show cased brilliantly at this domaine. Very little new oak is used, only around 5%, with barrels between 2 and 5 years preferred. The style is alluring, complex and harmonious and is exactly what one looks for in great Volnay

Fresh, elegant and beautifully defined with a velvety seductive mouthfeel. As usual the palate has great distinction, concentrated and completed with beautifully interwoven tannins.
