Seifried Family Estate
The Seifried family have been making stylish food-friendly wines in the beautiful Nelson region in New Zealand's South Island since 1976. Seifreid harvest from just over 200 hectares of vineyards across six vineyard sites. Nelson grapes ripen more slowly over a longer period than neighbouring Marlborough - thus the resultant wines show great elegance, purity of fruit and minerality.
Tasting Notes
"Gruner Veltliner is the famous aromatic grape variety from Austria. Our New Zealand version takes advantage of our very agreeable growing conditions for this grape. Gruner Veltliner has delicate floral and slate aromas on the nose. The palate has a gentle entry, so , pear and white pepper notes.
