Australian slang for left-hander, Mollydooker was created in 2006. Sited in Australia’s McLaren Vale, the house style is one of plush, concentrated, fruit-driven wines which retain beautiful balancing freshness. That the estate has been awarded just about every accolade possible over the years is testament to the team’s desire to relentlessly push the boundaries of their ability, but also to embrace the McLaren Vale terroir and coax it to its fullest.
A rich and intense wine, dense in colour with vibrant dark purple hues. On the nose, blueberry, dark cherry, caramel and hints of vanilla bean leap from the glass. Luscious layers of fresh berries, black pepper, coffee and a finishing note of chocolate cream.
An excellent accompaniment to beef and venison.
