Juniper Estate is a producer of premium wines in Wilyabrup, the heart of the Margaret River wine growing area, a remote, environmentally pristine coastal region that lies in the south west corner of Australia about 168 miles south of the state capital, Perth. Its wines are true to the style of the Margaret River region, showing depth, finesse and elegance with careful use of oak providing added complexity.
On the nose this wine offers enticing fruit characters of blackberry, raspberry, plum and blueberry mixing with subtle oak aromas, coffee, spice and vanilla. The medium bodied palate is intense with ripe fruit flavours and savoury complexity. Blackberry, cherry, blueberry and plum flavours intermingle with spice, petter and dusty tannins which will mellow with more time.
