Fattoria Le Pupille
In the mid-1980's Elisabetta Geppetti made the Maremma region famous, with her Estate, Le Pupille which is named after twin hills found around the original six hectares of vineyard. Still in her twenties Geppetti took the world by storm when she produced her greatest wine Saffredi, so named to honour her mentor and father in law "Fredi" who previously owned the estate. Fattoria Le Pupille Saffredi has been one of the world's leading wines since 2011 with an outstanding sequence of scores . James Suckling has continuously given exceedingly high scores to this wine. Saffredi is a wine he calls "A must-buy for Super Tuscan lovers"
