Château Liot

This 25-hectare property has been in the David family for several generations and is currently run by Jean-Gérard David. Although it is labelled Sauternes, it is actually situated on the Haut-Barsac plateau on typical red clay over limestone soils, in the commune of Barsac, next to Château Climens.

Tasting Notes

Fabulous aromas of caramel, satsuma and even a note of white pepper. The palate is beautifully smooth, creamy and thick with flavours of caramel, citrus, apple and toffee.

Food Matches

Enjoy with wine with a rhubarb panacotta.
