This 20 hectare estate is the ‘sister’ to Léoville Barton and in recent years has come out of its shadow.

Château Langoa Barton

This 20 hectare estate is the ‘sister’ to Léoville Barton and is also very fairly priced for the consistency of its quality. The grape varieties and wine-making methods are similar to these of Léoville Barton. Wow – what a wine! Aged in 60% new oak, this is another impressive vintage at Langoa.
A beautiful aromatic bouquet displaying notes of cherry, blackcurrant and cigar. The palate is lush and plentiful with great depth, intense blackcurrant fruits enveloping a solid and firm structure, and a touch of savoury giving added dimension. The tannins are polished and the wine possesses a great definition.
We love to drink this wine with a fillet steak and blue cheese sauce.
Aged in 60% new French oak for 18 months.
