Château La Vieille Cure

Owned by Americans, Colin Ferenbach and Peter Sachs, who are advised by consultant oenologist, Michel Rolland, this château is situated on an exceptional terroir, facing Pomerol, with a high clay content. There is no surprise that this wine has a rich American feel.

Tasting Notes

Big and powerful with notable extraction. The mouth feel is both Intense and meaty with sweet ripe black cherries and intense raisin characters. A lot going on in this wine, with a smattering of dark cocoa on the finish. Very much ‘where Bordeaux meets the Napa Valley!
