Tasting Notes

Deep and woody on the bouquet with concentrated blackberry fruit aromas. This is a super, high intensity wine, finely crafted with an impressive underbelly of creamy cassis and black olive. There is a crunchy freshness and juiciness that gives balance, the tannins are in check and the finish is full and long. Very impressive.

Food Matches

Sirloin of beef served pink with roast potatoes. Yummy!

Vinification

Harvest dates: 19th September - 5th October. Yields of 38hl/ha, aged for 12-14 months in 35% new barrels, 50% 1 year old and 15% 2 year old for 12 months. Alc 13.4%
